Wrestling!

This is Ty and Tayson and Brecken's favorite past time... WRESTLING!!! As soon as Tyler walks in the door after work the boys want to wrestle. Kind of Ironic that Tayson almost loses a tooth getting down from our barstool but so far no serious injuries from wrestling. Bytheway his tooth is holding strong for those of you who asked, that was a close one. I think "Tackle" was one of their first words. They will just come up and tackle the other one and I'm always like "Hey be nice, you're gonna get hurt" and they're just laughing their heads off. Tyler's like "Jenn they're BOYS" I guess it's a good thing boys have dad's or mom's like me would just try to shelter them too much.
I had to get Giryan in a picture with them too.... WOW! look at all my cute boys, I'm so lucky. Good thing they don't look like their dad at all, right? hahaha...

Look Uncle Blake!

Okay, so heres our special post for uncle Blake, (for those of you who don't know, he's a dental student at Case Western in Ohio) So Tayson had a really bad day today, first he woke up at 4:00 this morning because his tummy hurt. Ty made a little bed for him on the couch and stayed up to watch the cars movie for a while. He stayed home from Preschool, he was really sad about that because it was supposed to be face painting day. (Luckily they changed it to Friday) then later that morning he was climbing down from our barstools and his feet slipped off the little bar into the middle of the stool, so as he was falling backwards he tried to hold on to the stool. It didn't work so well, because it came crashing down on top of him and whopped him right in the mouth. His tooth was sticking out way too far and way crooked, not to mention all the blood. Poor kid! He was terrified. Anyways so we ran to the dentist. He said it was displaced and he pushed it back into it's place and put a little bridge on it to hold it there while it got better. He was a super tough kid. I'm so proud of him. Lucky it was a baby tooth, but that one's still gotta last him a few more years. We were supposed to get the bridge thing taken off in two weeks, but tonight he knocked it out!!!! DRAMA! we may have to go through the whole process again tomorrow. I'm going to call the dentist in the morning..... what a FUN day!! Anyhow, uncle Blake, enjoy the pic.

Halloween!!!

Halloween!!! We had so much fun this halloween. Giryan was Eyeore and he definitely fits the part in this picture. he was very grumpy. he just didn't want me to put him down... he's in the HOLD ME phase... He is growing sooooo fast I can't even believe it. Brecken wanted to be a kitten and Tayson wanted to be a tiger. I made their costumes this year but I don't think I will do it again. it was fun but the fabric was just about as expensive as just buying a costume anyways, and all that EXTRA work! but It made the boys happy so it was worth it.
We Went trick or treating in Tyler's parents neighborhood because they give out the GOOD stuff!!! Tons of full sized candy bars, it was Crazy... Tayson is our little smarty pants though. When they told him he could take more than one he would say "No, I think I have just about as much as I can handle right now" Seriously, I've never met a kid that would turn down Candy until this one.
I had to throw this picture in too... The boys loved helping dad move dirt around our yard in the Skidster yesterday. Oh, how they love the dirt!!!

Ballet

Okay, so since I am addicted to ballet I decided I would do a post about it. (halloween post coming soon, I just haven't put the pictures on the computer yet cause I'm a slacker.) So I've started teaching again, just two days a week for 3 hrs each, just enought to get my ballet fix. I have been loving it. I'd like to take this time to thank Tyler for being my Hero and taking the kids so I can teach. Man, I love that guy!!! These are pictures of our Clara for this years nutcracker. I made this dress for the performance last year. I got to go direct the photo shoot for the publicity photos. I had a great time. I didn't make this tutu. I just put all the embellishments on it. but it was fun. I'm amazed at how much fun I can have making these frilly dresses and stuff. this is my way of getting all the girly girl out of me because It's looking like the Jones family is going to be all boys.

1st snowfall October 6th

So, it's only the beginning of October and Last Saturday we got about 5 inches of SNOW! so we made a snowman of course! the boys loved it. Notice my summer decoration on the porch. hahaha! Yeah I finally changed that to fall now. :) Tyler went hunting that morning and shot 6 ducks, then he came home and helped the boys with their snowman. Giryan doesn't like the snow much. but I should have taken a picture of him all bundled up. sooo cute! The snowmans hat is the dogs food dish... inventive huh? I showed Tayson how to make a snow angel.... the dogs wanted to help. (The little black and white pup belongs to the neighbors) They played in the snow for almost two hours until we finally made them come in so they could get dry.

Brecken: "what is this stuff? Hmmm, I wonder how it tastes...." It didn't take long for him to test it out. Tyler told him just not to eat any yellow snow.... gross." Ellie bellie" loves the snow too.... my house will never stay clean now... OH well all in all it was a wonderful snowy day in Idaho. Bytheway it's all melted again now... when Brecken was saying his prayers yesterday night he said "thanks for the snow that's all turned to mud now" haha what a cutie.

Yellowstone

Here's some pictures from our trip to yellowstone last week. It was nice to get away for even just a day. I felt like I had been stuck in the house for a month, Oh wait... I was. Here's our coyote picture....
Buffalo (or Bison,.... I guess) Of all the cool things we have seen at Yellowstone these are the kids favorite for sure... I think because you get to see them so close up and they just hold still so you can look at them.... They especially like it if they walk in the road. Brecken says "Maybe the Buffalo just want to go where we are going"
Tyler and the boys at Tower Falls. Tyler and Tayson hiked all the way down to the river. Tayson ran the whole way there and back. He's a tough kid. did I mention that it was 44 degrees outside, yeah.... FREEZING!
IT'S A BEAR!!! that black thing that looks like a big rock is a mamma black bear. She had a cute little cub with her too.. it was so cute but it was hard to get a picture because the grass was taller than he was. We saw a Grizzly bear too in Lamar valley but it was about 3/4 of a mile away so you could only really see it through a spotting scope... but it was cool.
And a big Bull Elk.... there were tons of Elk but we only saw probably Three Big Bulls. We saw some deer too, kinda funny, but it was the first time I have seen a deer in yellowstone. I guess we are always just looking for other things. anyways, it was a good trip. Nice to just get out and breath some fresh mountain air.... and some sulphur too. :)

First day of Preschool

Tayson's first day of Preschool was Monday. He was so excited. So far he has loved every minute of it... he always asks if it's a preschool day today. I can't believe how fast he is growing. I just keep trying to enjoy their youth but it's going by too fast. I didn't cry though, and that's pretty good for me lately. :)
He's trying to show off his cars backpack that he got from Grandma DeeDee for his birthday. He wanted to bring everything with him, notebooks and pencils and stickers and erasers and glue and markers and crayons.... we had to explain that his teacher would already have all that stuff there. He tells Brecken "When you get big enough like me, you can go to preschool too.... Maybe when you turn four"
Then i just threw in this picture 'cause It's cute.

Cars restaraunt

This is the kids favorite place to eat. Its just a little 50's diner but they call it the cars restaraunt. they serve the kids meals in little vintage cars, plus they get to color their own hat. fun, fun, fun... While I was in the hospital with Giryan they went here and brought me back huge Brownie, fudge, sundae... it was yummy. Tayson is a huge fan of the cars movie, Brecken is into tractors. Anyways, I think these are cute pictures.

I made a BLOG

I think this is SO funny because I am completely dumb and out of the loop when it comes to computers, but this seemed easy enough so i thought it might be a good way to keep in touch with all the people I don't see often enough... plus my Cute friend Heather has a Blog that is so much fun to read, I thought it might be fun to try... Of course I'll spend all my time talking about my kids cause that's my favorite subject. This is our newest addition... Giryan Quinn Jones! He was born on August 7th. 8lbs 5oz and 21 and a half inches... This picture looks funny because it was dark when I took it so no he doesn't have bruises in the side of his head.... but he's SUCH A SWEETHEART. He's been a really good baby. Our only struggle has been getting rid of his Jaundice... Tayson and Brecken had Jaundice too but Giryan's is just taking forever to go away... The latest thing that they asked me to try was to feed him Formula for 48 HOURS! Thats like an eternity... call me a crazy post-partum woman, but i cried everry single time i fed him a bottle and every single time I pumped and dumped it down the sink, and I only made it 12 hours before I gave in and just nursed him... then i called the doctors office in the morning and asked whether it really is worth turning me into a psychopath over this whole thing. They haven't called me back yet, but if they make me do it again I'm going to have to check myself into a mental institution or something. Plus the formula made him really gassy and fussy.... anyways. Up until then I was really enjoying my perfect little angel. And I thought I was starting to get everything all figured out. So much for that Idea, huh? Oh well... anyhow... I guess we'll test out my first BLOG.... Let me know what you think.

Craters of the Moon

I thought I would throw in a picture of Tayson and Brecken too... this is from Craters of the moon last Sunday. We went there with my parents while they were visiting. I had never been there before. Its a pretty cool place. they boys loved it, but Brecken wouldn't go in any caves unless mom came with him. We always laugh that hes such a momma's boy but I think it's cute.
